Student Going to NatGeo Bee State Competition

Mate Aranyosi prepares for the state competition in NatGeo Bee.

For the second year in a row, Mate Aranyosi has qualified for the state-level competition of the National Geographic Bee, a comprehensive geography contest. He will compete with students from around California to represent the state at the national, televised NatGeo Bee in Washington D.C.

Mate will represent Delphi Academy at states, and as the only contestant from a Campbell school will also represent the city. Last year, Mate finished the state level competition in the top 30 and is preparing this year with in-depth study of the Central American regions and history, as he reported in an article with the San Jose Mercury News.

Congratulations to Mate and good luck!
